Experience:
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office environment with an experience in symology to join Commhoist as a Project Co-Ordinator.
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word experience is essential. Along with the ability to manage tight timescales and liaise with clients to ensure everyone is kept up to speed on all projects.

The primary function of the Project Co-Ordinator is to manage client sites from receipt of enquiry to completion. Liaising with clients via conference calls and daily and weekly reports, handling programs of works, issuing quotations and invoicing projects upon completion. You will also be expected to liaise with external clients including site providers, local authorities and the police where necessary.
The successful candidate will possess strong organisational, interpersonal and time management skills, whilst having the ability to multi-task and be flexibility to suit the needs of both the client and Commhoist.

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager/Appointed Person Lifting Operations to join team Commhoist. This home-based role requires a qualified CPCS Appointed Person to work at client sites in the South of England covering London, Kent, Essex, Southampton, Norfolk and on occasion UK wide.
The primary function of the role is to supervise, manage and lead field teams to ensure delivery and installation of equipment on site. Undertake field surveys to return prompt information, pictures and drawings for on-site delivery and lifting solutions.
The successful candidate must be familiar with health and safety procedures relating to construction and transport and be committed to ensuring health and safety procedures are followed on the projects for which they are responsible. Relationship building, time management and excellent communication skills are all essential for a successful Site Manager/Appointed Person
The successful candidate will cover the South of England, with a proportion of the role involving some out of hours working. Some working away from home would be required but this shall not be excessive and will be planned in advance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for attaching and detaching loads to and from the crane load lifting attachment, and for using the correct lifting accessories and equipment in accordance with the Method Statement. The Slinger/Signaller will be responsible for directing initial movement of the crane.
The successful Slinger/Signaller should be able to relay signals from the Slinger to the Crane Driver; direct safe movement of the crane and give clear and precise verbal instructions where audio equipment (e.g. radio) is employed.
