Commhoist achieves ISO 45001 Accreditation

Commhoist, one of the UK’s leading mobile telecoms networks lifting and logistics providers has achieved its ISO 45001 accreditation for its management systems in relation to lifting contractors.

ISO 45001 is an international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. Organisations are not required by law to implement ISO 45001 or other similar management standards, but by achieving the accreditation Commhoist are showing their commitment to a structured framework for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace.

Commhoist Managing Director, Wayne Brierley said “This is a magnificent accomplishment for the company, and I want to personally thank all the individuals who have worked tirelessly to ensure we achieve this accreditation.”

Commhoist successfully achieved the accreditation following a rigorous two stage audit process, which involved an in-depth audit of management systems and review of full-cycle internal audits.

Wayne added “There are multiple benefits to achieving this accreditation but the most important is the improved risk management which allows us to identify potential risks and put controls in place to keep risks as low as possible, which allows us to protect our employees and customers from potential harm.”
