Over the last few months at LIG we’ve been actively upgrading our fleet, and we’re delighted to say that a number of new additions have arrived at our yard, signalling our commitment to modernisation.
Our inaugural Bocker truck-mounted crane has debuted, showcasing the sleek new LIG & Commhoist combined branding. The AK52 mounted on the MAN TGS 8×4 4-axle Euro VI platform offers incredible versatility, serving as both a MEWP and a crane. This versatility allows us to provide greater flexibility to our clients across the UK.
In addition to the Bocker crane, we’ve also welcomed two DAF XG530 tractor units equipped with Fassi F820RA cranes, complemented by Broshuis power-steer extending trailers, all provided by MAC Trucks.
Furthermore, another Ruthmann T510 MEWP has joined our fleet, although regrettably, we didn’t manage to capture any photos this new vehicle as it was swiftly dispatched to Scotland for immediate work, which is extremely pleased to state.
Glynn Carlisle, CEO of LIG, expressed, “It’s a really exciting time for LIG, and the arrival of these new fleet vehicles signifies our commitment to the future. This diversification of fleet allows us to be more flexible for not only our current clients, but also allows us to successfully service new marketplaces.”
